ABOUT THE AFRICAN MAJOR PROPHET
His Eminence, Archbishop (Amb) Samson Mustapha Benjamin, Founder and General Overseer of the Resurrection Praise Ministries International popularly know as (Jehovah Sharp Sharp) gave his life to Christ in 1982 at the age of 12 and began his divine practice to the destiny of high calling and fame at an early age of 15 (fifteen) years. And at the age of 19, he had preached in almost all the NORTHERN STATES in Nigeria.
Born on the 7th of August 1970 in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria and originally of a Muslim Parentage. The 4th son of 9 Children.
He attended the army children school, Cantonment "D" Kao in Kaduna and from there gained admission into the Government College, Kaduna before proceeding to the School of Arts and Science, Suleja in Niger State of Nigeria and again went to study Chemical Engineering at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida from where he received the call for his ministry.
He had a social life as a growing youth. At his form 3 during his secondary school education, He was the President of the Fellowship of the Christian students of Government College Kaduna.
In 1987 after the 1st Kaduna religious riot, Christian Fellowships were banned in schools in Kaduna State, so he had to find alternative ways of meeting outside the school with his members.
This Meeting metamorphosed into a youth revival movement known as Combined Youths Fellowship from where several Pastors and Evangelist have been raised.
His Eminence served seven (7) different men of God; one of them was Rev. I.U Godwin who helped to build his primary foundation of stewardship in Christ.
He planted several churches for different ministries. In 1991, He started a ministry in Bida, Niger state. This ministry since foundation is the largest Pentecostal church in Bida, Niger state and is now led by Bishop Dr. Samuel Eke. And also a mega branch at Delta state Warri, Nigeria being led by Bishop Dr. Dele Oladipupo till date.
His Eminence was asked by the Holy Spirit to move from Bida, Niger state to Lagos against his wish in the year 2000 where he started a new church entirely in a one plot rented at Oluti Amuwo Odofin local government in Lagos. In one (1) year the church out grew the plot to another opposite plot, with an overflow in two streets of the neighborhood. The Lord in his mighty act provided the present location for the church which initially by human reason/understanding was impossible and unusable. A deep swamp inhabited by reptiles and other animals.
His Eminence Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin in his usual humble character obeyed the Holy Spirit and moved into the deep swamp, on the 18th of December 2002, held his first service and the Almighty God proved himself during the prayer session and a very thick cloud of glory stood behind him and ordained him an African Major Prophet. Hence the speed of growth has been alarming and God worked special miracles through his hands till date.
He serves the Lord in fullness, voluntarily in Celibacy.
He is also a United Nations Ambassador for Peace, The President of the Foundation for World Peace and Dispute Resolution. This foundation is totally about bringing peace not only to zones in Africa or Asia, but the entire globe. His footprints and landmarks can be seen all around and his impact can be felt all over the world.
